about

This album took 2 years to record and was almost not released. It was an insanely ambitious project. It features strings sections from the Kelowna symphony orchestra, horn sections from the Thursday night jazz band and numerous friends we had at the time.

We'd like to thank everyone involved!

It was impossible to finish the post production on the album due to Riley working two jobs, gigging and having a girlfriend, also Riley took on a second recording project with the folk duo "sincerely someone". Oh did I mention we were also writing new songs while training our new drummer Mike Baxter? The work life balance of devoted musicians and artists is impossible. I still can't figure it out, I totally get why people stop "pursuing music" sometimes I wish I could stop myself. But alas the distraction of creating and promoting music creates dulls the pain of existing. :)

I digress...

It is a fucking miracle this album exists and I am so proud of it.
